LOGO中间的S是科雅苑（Scientific Education Hall）的英文开头字母，是一个科雅苑的标志，中间那个图案像盾牌一样代表科雅苑这个大家庭坚不可摧，线条的轮廓又像是双手做爱心的形状证明科雅苑是个团结友爱的苑舍。

吴京津博士        

Dr. Timothy Wu

吴京津博士于2016年毕业于香港城市大学，并在香港城市大学的舍堂担任学长导师一职超过2年。吴博士在取得博士学位后加入UIC，现为电机电子工程师学会(IEEE)会员。曾受邀至澳洲、匈牙利、韩国、新加坡和美国等地参加学术会议、学术访问或舍堂交流等活动。

吴博士是一个户外运动爱好者，经常参与的运动包括徒步、游泳和冲浪。他参加过在香港、澳门和韩国举办的多次马拉松比赛。

joined UIC in summer 2016 after receiving the Ph.D. degree from City University of Hong Kong (CityU). He has served as a Student Residence Tutor in CityU halls for more than 2 years. He is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) and has been invited for academic or hall-related visits to Australia, Hungary, South Korea, Singapore and the USA.

He enjoys various outdoor sports activities such as hiking, swimming and windsurfing. Particularly, he is a marathon runner and has participated in several marathon events held in Hong Kong, Macau and South Korea.

Tony Ding

Our associate warden is Tony Dinh who was born and raised in Minnesota, USA. He first came to UIC as an exchange student and now he is a lecturer. "I have always lived an active life while I was in the US and it’s something I continue to do in UIC. I value the importance of being able to balance both academic and personal life and feel that university is a great time to learn", he said. Tony is excited and looking forward to working with our students this coming year and he will support students during their life at UIC, hoping to promote a more active lifestyle.
