1.Application Principles

If you need to change your dorm due to health issues, roommate ralationships or other reasons, submit an application through the Student Affairs Management System:https://sa.uic.edu.cn/.

2.Processing Principles

2.1 After you apply, the Student Affairs Office will decide within 7 working days to either swap dorm spots with another student, arrange a move to an empty bed/room, or withdraw the application after mediation.

2.2 We generally don’t accept applications requesting a whole empty room-such as for single occupancy or moving into an empty room with other students.

2.3 We generally don't process applications from students in other grades that involve beds (including empty ones) reserved for graduating students (seniors and those extending their studies).
