PGCC Academic Tutoring Class

The PGCC Academic Tutorial Group is dedicated to aiding students who encounter difficulties with their academics. The U Study Tutoring Group organized in three main departments: administration, publicity, and training. The group is managed by a team of student leaders, with guidance from PGCC teachers.

The Administration Department is responsible for clerical duties, maintaining archives, and workshop planning. The Publicity Department focuses on designing promotional materials and creating posts, as well as releasing educational articles every Thursday. These articles cover a wide array of topics, from introductions to various academic majors to sharing personal experiences, resources, and stories. The Training Department's main role is to recruit tutors and conduct regular teaching sessions and one-on-one communication tasks.

1. Teaching Team (large-scale class teaching)
The teaching team consists of students who have achieved a grade of A- or above in the subject. They serve as tutors, assisting students who struggle with certain subjects. The teaching content primarily includes explaining the overall course framework, summarizing key points and difficulties, and sharing learning methods and exam techniques. At the start of each semester, PGCC collects the main subjects for freshmen and sophomores (or refers to subjects from previous years) to offer corresponding courses. At the semester's end, PGCC offers courses to the public to assist students in reviewing for their final exams.

2. One-to-One Projects
The One-to-One Project is built on the concept of peer support. It provides senior students who excel academically with a platform to target tutoring to students seeking help. The curriculum emphasis on personalized tutoring methods of one-to-one or multiple directed tutoring courses. Both parties mutually agree upon class schedule and location. The administration department members manage the registration information of students and student tutors, handle pairing and contract signing, and continuously monitor the performance of the students' tutoring.

3. ATG Workshop
