Individual Counseling services assist you in exploring and dealing with various challenges in life. In a natural and privacy-respecting environment, through sharing personal experiences, feelings, and thoughts, we help you understand and recognize yourself more deeply, thereby tapping into your potential. Students can seek our support and assistance with issues such as emotions, environmental adaptation, romance, interpersonal or family relationships, self-identity, and confidence through psychological counseling services.

All information will be kept confidential and will not be disclosed to your family, friends, and university staff without your permission.

Information will only be conveyed to a third party with your written consent.

Appointment Guide for Individual Counseling:

Specific Operation (Ensure you are connected to the campus network)

1.Log into the UIC portal website: https://sso.uic.edu.cn, enter your student number and password to log into the UIC portal system, select PGCC System.

2. Enter PGCC system and change the password as required. Changing the password within PGCC system does not affect the personal login password of UIC portal system.

3.After logging into the UIC portal website https://sso.uic.edu.cn, click to enter PGCC System, change the password as required. Changing the password within PGCC system does not affect the login password of UIC portal system.

Click the "Booking Psychological Counseling" button - The system will pause for 1-2 seconds and a blank window will appear (as shown in Figure 2) -click “selecting time for booking” under the picture -search for the counseling time slot that you want to book -start completing the information form for counseling appointment.

Click to book the time slot - select your preferred time slot - click on "Go to Evaluation" - enter the information form for counseling appointment and click "Start". After completing the information form, the system will show that the evaluation has been recorded. The system will automatically send it directly to the counselor's system, Please check the status of your psychological counseling appointment at any time to track the progress of your booking.

Attention：

1. Please confirm that this is your first visit for individual counseling at PGCC. (If you have had a counseling record before and have seen a counselor at PGCC, the system will not be able to make an appointment. If you need to make an appointment, please inquire with the front desk teacher at V18-101. After the inquiry, the front desk teacher will notify the counselor to arrange a time to meet with you.)

2. After submitting your first appointment request, you need to wait for the counselor's confirmation. Please check the "Appointment Record" in the system at least one day in advance to see the status. When the status is "Confirmed," the appointment is valid.

3. If the appointment is unsuccessful, a counselor will contact you via email or phone.
