PGCC Internship Program

The Internship Program of the Personal Growth and Counselling Center (PGCC) is a vital part of the PGCC Peer Volunteer Team. For interns official duties at the center, interns extend a warm, respectful, and sincere welcome to every visiting student. They recieve professional training diligently, provide necessary support and assistance to fellow students on campus, actively promote mental health knowledge, and convey peer care to more students.

Each academic year, the PGCC will recruit responsible, helpful, and psychologically knowledgeable students from the entire campus, specifically those in their third year or above. After assessment and probation, applicants will have the opportunity to become PGCC interns. During the internship, PGCC interns serve as student assistants to psychological counsellors. They rotate shifts at the center's front desk to welcome visiting students, assist with administrative tasks, and organize various online and offline mental health education and promotional activities on campus. Interns are required to regularly participate in relevant professional training, group counselling, and under the supervivion of professional psychological counsellors, they follow ethical requirements and confidentiality principles to provide peer psychological support.

Interested students can look out for the recruitment emails sent out by the PGCC in the second semester of each academic year. We look forward to your participation.
