学校二期校园书院组团将用于理工学科和研究生院的建设，建成理科、工科、交叉学科、新兴技术、产业转化的重要基地，建筑面积约40万平方米，规划分为科研组团、教学组团和书院组团三大区块。其中部分工程将于今年10月份启用，为彰显大学文化气息和博雅教育理念，同时方便师生学习、生活和工作，现需对校园书院组团空间进行命名。为充分听取学生对二期校园书院组团空间的建议，集思广益，结合二期校园总体设计理念，制定适合学校教育理念与校园设计理念的名称，举办“‘我’的名字，你做主”主题的二期校园书院组团空间命名征集活动。此次活动的相关安排内容如下：

一．       活动时间

6月24日 下午15：00前 提交命名提案

二．       报名相关事项：

1.   参与对象：

UIC全体在校学生，以个人名义或学生组织名义为单位参与。

2.   报名方式

(1) 活动参与者需填写附件《UIC二期校园书院组团空间命名征集表》，邮件以“姓名/学生组织名称＋空间征名”命名，在规定时间内将附件发送至邮箱ssldt@uic.edu.cn。

(2) 所提交的空间名称需注明释义，即对名称的由来、含义作详细说明，否则视为无效投稿。

三．       参赛要求：

1.   符合国家法律法规和社会规范，不得含有不健康信息、不得侵犯他人知识产权和名誉权等；

2.   命名需中英结合，文辞简练（勿使用生僻或多音字词），寓意深厚，雅俗共赏，具有创新性和较强的传播性；

3.   征集表应由总体命名理念、命名对象、拟命名名称和名称释义四个部分组成。名称释义字数应在20-30字；

4.   定位清晰，与校园文化衔接紧密；

5.   一份提案需同时为所有空间命名，各名称之间能够相互呼应，整体展现学校文化内涵；

6.   参与者必须在指定的时间提交作品，过时间者恕不接纳。

7.   命名规则：宿舍楼命名以中文“XX楼”和英文“XX House”为标准，与UIC现有宿舍楼名字保持一致。

四．       评选办法

1.    征名阶段结束后，学校将组织专业团队组成评审组，对所有征集名称进行评选，选出创意奖获得者。

2.    获得创意奖的学生个体或组织能够获得学校文创产品作为奖励。

五．       实施原则

1.    所有参与者须同意及遵守活动细则，并以评审委员之最终决定为准。

2.    该活动的获奖作品仅作为二期校园书院组团命名的参考。

3.    如有任何争议，主办单位保留最终决定权。

4.    本活动的解释权归属主办单位所有。

Collect Ideas About Names of Hostel Buildings of “Residential Cluster” in Second-phase Campus

The second-phase campus will mainly be the home of science programmes and Graduate School.  We would like to collect some naming ideas from our students. All students are welcomed to join us to bring up your ideas.

Details are as follows:

1.    Submission Time : 10^th to 30^th May, 2022

2. Registration：

(1) Targets：All UIC students

(2) Way of Registration:

a. Fill in the attached form and put the “Name / Student Organization + Space Name" in the subject of your email which should be sent to  ssldt@uic.edu.cn before 30 May,2022.

b. The names of space should be marked with annotation (a detailed explanation of its origin or meaning), otherwise, it will be treated as invalid.

3. Requirements：

(1) The ideas you proposed should be comply with the national laws and regulations. Unhealthy information and plagiarism are prohibited.

(2) Both Chinese and English versions are required.

(3) The form is composed of four parts: overall naming concept, naming object, proposed name and annotation. You are suggested to write the annotation in 20 to 30 words.

(4) The proposed name should connect closely with our campus culture.

(5) You should name all the spaces in a proposal.

(6) According to the name of our existing student hostels, the student hostels should be named as "XX House".

4. Selection Method

(1) A panel will be set up to select and make decisions for the Creativity Award.

(2) The winners of the Creativity Award will receive the UIC souvenirs.

5. Remarks:

(1) All the participants should agree and comply with the rules of our activity.

(2) The Creativity Award of this activity are used for reference only.

(3) The final decision and the right of interpretation will be reserved by the Organizing Committee if any disputes.
