一. 目的

为奖励在校学生持续优异的学术表现，激励学生奋发向上，取得更大的成就，自2020-2021学年度起，学校设立【校长荣誉奖学金President’s Honor Award】及【院长推荐奖学金Dean’s Award】。

二. 参评对象

BNBU 本科全日制大二、大三、大四在校学生

三. 评选标准

评选当年学生cGPA（累积GPA）学院排名

四. 评选名额及奖励金额

1) 校长荣誉奖学金：10人，奖金：￥80,000/人/年（人民币捌万元/人）

2) 院长推荐奖学金：30人，奖金：￥40,000/人/年（人民币肆万元/人）

五. 奖学金名额分配

六. 评选流程

1) 学院办公室根据评选当年学院学生的cGPA成绩(累积GPA)排名，确定拟推荐获奖学生名单。

2) 获奖学金提名的学生名单，统一由[本科生奖助学金委员会]进行终审。

3) 提名的学生名单将在学生事务处主页进行公示（不少于三个工作日）。

4) 公示无异议，学生事务处通知获奖同学并安排后续奖学金发放。

5) 学院办公室保留推荐和评选的最终解释权。

七. 有下列情况之一者，不具备参评资格

1）考核学年度（即2023-2024学年）退学、休学或保留学籍的；

2）在奖学金评定期间正在办理或者已办理退学手续的；

3）在考核学年度或在奖学金评定期间因违反校纪、校规、法律、法规而受到书面警告（含书面警告）以上处分及以往所受处分没有解除的。

八. 其他

1）【校长荣誉奖学金】、【院长推荐奖学金】与校内一等奖学金、二等奖学金、入学奖学金续得、台湾在校生奖学金均不兼得，但不影响国家级奖助学金的申请。

2）如候选人同时满足上述奖学金评选条件的，则以“就高原则[1]”进行奖项分配。

本科生奖助学金委员会

President’s Honor Award and Dean’s Award

(2023-2024 academic year)

1. Purpose

The purpose of the President's Honor Award and Dean's Award is to reward students who have demonstrated continued outstanding academic performance during their undergraduate studies and to motivate them to strive for greater achievements.

2. Eligibility

Full-time undergraduate sophomore, junior, and senior students enrolled at BNBU.

Number awarded: 10

Scholarship Value: 80,000 RMB per person per academic year

Dean’s Award

Number awarded: 30

Scholarship Value: 40,000 RMB per person per academic year

6. Selection of Award

a) The Faculty/School office determines a list of recommended students based on students’ cGPA score (cumulative GPA) ranking in the year of selection, and submits the nomination to the Undergraduate Scholarship and Financial Aid Committee for further review.

b) The Undergraduate Scholarship and Financial Aid Committee makes the final endorsement of the nomination lists.

c) Lists of shortlisted candidates shall be publicized on the Student Affairs Office webpage (no less than three working days).

d) The Student Affairs Office notifies scholarship recipients and follows up on scholarship disbursement.

e) The Faculty/School office reserves the right to make final interpretations of scholarship recommendations and selections.

7. Conditions

Students will be considered ineligible for the award in the following circumstances:

a) withdrawal, suspension or temporary retention of their academic status during the academic year 2023-2024, or

b) have submitted a withdrawal application or completed the withdrawal procedure at any point during the evaluation period, or

c) have received a written warning or a more serious offence for violating school discipline, laws and regulations during the academic year 2023-2024 or during the scholarship evaluation period in the next academic year unless the penalty has been lifted.

8. Remarks

a) Awardees of the President's Honor or the Dean's Award in any given year are prohibited from concurrently holding the First Class Award, or the Second Class Award, or the Admission Scholarship Renewal, or the Taiwan Students Scholarships, but are permitted to apply for scholarships in the national category.

b) If a candidate meets the above scholarship selection criteria in the year of selection, the scholarship shall be awarded in accordance with the principle of “whichever is higher in amount or honor[2]”.
